The department of Electrical Engineering is one of the core and prestigious branches of NMIET and has an intake capacity of 60 students. The electrical engineering department has qualified and expert faculties who adopt the pragmatic approach of teaching to nurture students to be efficient to face and serve industries as well as public sector enterprises.
The department consists of well-equipped laboratories like High voltage, PLC & SCADA, Machines, Analog & Digital Electronics, Power Systems, Microprocessor & Control Laboratories. The department aims at making the students ready for future technology as well as develop a versatile persona of an engineer by encouraging logical, analytical and productive thinking thus making NMIET one of the top engineering colleges in Bhubaneswar.
